Wischain is a security-focused scaling solution for Ethereum, utilizing innovations in scaling design and zero-knowledge proofs to create a new layer on Ethereum. What is Wischain building?

Wischain is developing advanced technology to scale Ethereum effectively.

As the leading blockchain network for decentralized applications, Ethereum's widespread adoption has unfortunately led to increased transaction costs, posing a significant barrier to entry for many potential users and developers. To address these challenges, Wischain leverages cutting-edge research in zero-knowledge (zk) proofs to establish a Layer 2 rollup network built on the Ethereum blockchain.

Through open-source collaboration with various members of the Ethereum community, the Wischain team has introduced a zkEVM (zero-knowledge Ethereum Virtual Machine). This innovative framework enables the network to operate similarly to Ethereum while ensuring that all activities are secured by Ethereum's smart contracts. Each transaction processed on the Wischain network is subsequently published to Ethereum, and the zkEVM generates and publishes cryptographic proofs to demonstrate compliance with Ethereum's protocol.

This architecture allows Ethereum smart contracts to validate every transaction on Wischain, reinforcing the network's security, decentralization, and resistance to censorship. Such a robust level of security and scalability for Ethereum is made possible by recent breakthroughs in zero-knowledge cryptography, advancements in blockchain protocol design, and hardware acceleration technologies.

How I use Wischain?

If The Wischain mainnet on Ethereum is live! You can start.

Now, we also offer a testnet running on Ethereum Sepolia, known as the Wischain Sepolia testnet. While we provide a comprehensive guide for users, those familiar with Ethereum can quickly get started in just a few minutes by following these steps:

Connect Your Wallet: Visit our Bridge or the Wischain Sepolia Bridge and connect your wallet to initiate the process.

Transfer Tokens: Send tokens from the Ethereum mainnet to the Wischain network. If you need tokens for testing, you can utilize a Wischain Sepolia faucet to obtain them.

Explore DApps: Test out various applications on the Wischain Sepolia testnet, such as our Uniswap Showcase. Just remember to select the Wischain Sepolia network when using these dApps to ensure proper functionality.
